Baby allergy diarrhea symptoms

Baby allergy diarrhea symptoms

Many people will encounter allergy problems in life. In fact, allergies are okay for adults, because adults can express it and restrain themselves from scratching. However, it is difficult to control for babies. Children will definitely scratch when they feel itchy. As long as they can scratch, they will choose to scratch it, and some may even form scabs. In addition to itching, baby allergies may also cause diarrhea, vomiting or fever, which are all worthy of attention.

Overview

Allergic diarrhea is caused by the presence of a large number of bacteria, viruses and ingested food in the human intestine, which are foreign antigens. The intestinal mucosa forms a "mucosal barrier" through immune mechanisms, preventing antigens from entering the body or controlling the body's immune response to invading antigens. If the mucosal barrier function is weakened or lost, antigens will enter the human body and stimulate the body to produce antibodies mainly of the lge type. The human mast cells and alkaliphils have high-affinity receptors on the surface that can bind to lge antibodies. Once exposed to the corresponding antigens, they will cause different types of gastrointestinal diseases.

symptom

The symptoms of allergic diarrhea are mainly manifested clinically as diarrhea, which may be loose stools or explosive watery diarrhea, often with mucus and blood. Symptoms may appear as early as 2 months of age, and patients between 6 months and 14 years of age may develop more severe systemic symptoms such as eczema, asthma, allergic rhinitis, anemia, and developmental and nutritional disorders.

Daily care

1. Patients with diarrhea should avoid certain foods. Patients with diarrhea should avoid eating greasy food; avoid milk, goat milk and large amounts of sucrose; avoid blindly using antidiarrheal drugs; avoid abusing chloramphenicol. If the diarrhea is caused by indigestion, using chloramphenicol is dangerous; avoid eating raw garlic.

2. Pay attention to hygiene and prevent diarrhea. In our daily life, we should pay attention to the hygiene of drinking water, not drink raw water, and boil drinking water before drinking. At the same time, we should also pay attention to environmental hygiene, do a good job of killing flies and cockroaches, and prevent food from being contaminated.
