Can conjunctivitis in children heal on its own?

Whether conjunctivitis in children can heal itself depends on the situation. Generally speaking, neonatal conjunctivitis can heal itself. There is no need to worry too much. Just keep wiping it slowly with clean water. Allergic conjunctivitis can heal itself slowly as long as you stay away from allergens.
