How to pronounce "tooth"Use "tooth" in a sentence

Many children will encounter many problems during the process of teething. Among them, double teeth is a very common situation nowadays. In fact, double teeth mean that a child has an extra tooth on the inside, but the previous deciduous tooth has not fallen out. This situation is mainly caused by the refined daily diet. In order to reduce the harm of double teeth, the deciduous teeth should be extracted as soon as they are discovered.

Extraction of deciduous teeth

If a child is found to have "double rows of teeth", parents are advised to take the child to a regular medical institution for examination and extraction as soon as possible.

Some parents think that tooth extraction is a trivial matter. When they see their children have retained deciduous teeth, they extract them at home, ignoring the potential risks. For example, when having a tooth extracted, if the child gets nervous, he may inhale the tooth into the trachea by mistake; if the parents do not control the strength well, the permanent teeth may be damaged. Other parents took their children to irregular medical institutions, only to find that the wrong teeth were pulled out of their children. This is because when deciduous teeth are not loose, they "look very similar" to permanent teeth, posing a risk of wrong extraction.

Causes of retained deciduous teeth

It is understood that the main reason why most children have "double teeth" nowadays is that their diet is too refined, the chewing function of their teeth is reduced, and their jaw development is poor. Chewing food can promote the growth and development of the roots of deciduous teeth as well as their natural absorption and shedding. Therefore, parents should let their children eat more fruits and vegetables, such as celery, peanuts, apples, sugarcane and other chewy foods.

The dangers of retained deciduous teeth

1. Retention of baby's deciduous teeth will cause abnormal eruption direction and position of permanent teeth, or even failure to erupt, which will affect the baby's jaw development.

2. A reduced chewing rate will result in the baby not being able to absorb enough nutrients from food.

3. The gaps between teeth become larger after permanent teeth erupt. Changes in the oral hygiene environment can lead to tooth decay.

4. Facial appearance and psychological development will have different degrees of impact.

How to prevent retained deciduous teeth

1. Check the baby teeth regularly: Generally, they should be checked every two months or so. If you find that the baby teeth of children are dull and gray in color, or in severe cases, there may be black cavities, indicating that the teeth are decayed, you should go to the hospital for treatment as soon as possible.

2. Correct bad eating habits: Babies should regularly eat coarse foods rich in crude fiber to strengthen the chewing activity of the dental and maxillofacial system, increase the self-cleaning function of the oral cavity and teeth, and reduce the incidence of dental diseases.

3. Brush your teeth and rinse your mouth carefully: educate your baby to develop the habit of brushing his teeth in the morning and evening, rinsing his mouth after meals, especially after eating sweets.

4. Correct bad habits: Bad habits such as biting the tongue, chewing objects, sucking fingers, licking teeth, etc. can induce widening of tooth spaces, tilted teeth, partial open bite, protrusion of teeth, etc., affecting facial appearance and the growth of permanent teeth.
