What are the early symptoms of children's emergency room

The health of infants can be easily affected by various factors and cause great harm to the body. Among them, infant emergency is relatively common, which poses a great threat to the physical health of infants. Many parents will panic when faced with this situation and don’t know how to deal with it. Therefore, it is very necessary to understand the relevant situation of infant emergency. What are the early symptoms of infant emergency?

Roseola infantum, also known as roseola infantum, false rash, and milk rash, is a common acute febrile rash disease in infants and young children. It is a rash disease caused by a viral infection. It mostly occurs in babies aged 6 to 18 months and is rare after 2 years old. The disease can occur throughout the year, especially in spring and autumn. How to diagnose roseola infantum? Body temperature characteristics: Fever is the most obvious symptom. The sick baby may have a high fever without any signs, with the body temperature as high as 39℃~40℃. Without taking antipyretics, the body temperature fluctuated, rising for three hours and falling for three hours, and the fever persisted for about three days.

Apart from the discomfort caused by high fever, children are usually in good spirits. The fever usually persists for 3 to 5 days, and then suddenly subsides and a rash appears (if only a rash appears, the fever will subside). The eyebrows are red and the skin becomes flowery when you have a fever.

Characteristics of the rash: On the 3rd to 5th day of a high fever, the body temperature suddenly returns to normal, and at the same time or later a rose-red rash appears. The rash is small and dense, and is under the skin, not protruding from the skin. The rash is mostly distributed on the front and back of the chest, behind the ears, waist and buttocks, and less frequently on the arms and legs. It usually disappears within 24 to 48 hours without any pigmentation or peeling.

Swollen lymph nodes: In the early stages of roseola infantum, babies will not show many obvious symptoms on the surface of their body. When the disease occurs, only mild congestion of the pharynx and tonsils and mild swelling of the superficial lymph nodes in the head and neck will appear. Therefore, if the baby shows symptoms such as loss of appetite, restlessness or mild cough, parents should pay attention.

The symptoms of roseola infantum are generally not serious and only require general treatment.

1. Control your diet. Breastfeeding mothers should also strictly control their diet.

2. Drink plenty of water. Let your baby drink small amounts of water multiple times. Replenish your baby's water in time to prevent the baby from becoming dehydrated due to fever. Breastfed babies can drink more milk, which can replenish water on the one hand and absorb the immune components of breast milk on the other.

3. Babies should pay attention to rest, avoid strenuous exercise, and try not to go to crowded places. Keep the room quiet and well ventilated.
