Children's over-flowering is a symptom

In general, roseola infantum is the first time a child has a fever, and it is most likely to occur in spring and autumn. Roseola infantum is also called fever rash or roseola, and in some places it is commonly known as roseola. Although the name is different, when a child has roseola, he or she will suddenly have a high fever, and the fever will recur. Generally, an obvious rash will appear on the child's body after about 3 days of high fever.

Children's over-flowering is a symptom

Symptom 1

Fever is the initial manifestation of roseola in young children. The body temperature is higher than or equal to 39 degrees Celsius and usually lasts for about 5 days. Some babies may experience convulsions during a high fever, sometimes accompanied by a mild cough.

Symptom 2

After the fever subsides, red rashes begin to appear on the child's chest and back, usually maculopapular, and then slowly spread to cover the face and other parts of the body, such as hands and feet. The rash lasts for 3-4 days, after which it disappears on its own without leaving any marks.

Symptom three

Different physical conditions will result in different complications. Young children may experience symptoms such as lethargy, diarrhea, and eyelid edema during the rash period.

How to care for acute rash

1. Young children should avoid strenuous exercise and get more rest.

2. Replenish water in time. You can use a small amount of fruit juice instead. It not only replenishes vitamins, but also acts as a diuretic and sweat-relieving agent, which helps to speed up the excretion of toxins in the body. When a child has a high fever, his body temperature is very high, and the water metabolism rate in the child's body is accelerated. Timely replenishment of water can also have the effect of lowering the child's body temperature.

3. The diet should mainly consist of easily digestible foods. For children who are starting to eat solid food, liquid or semi-liquid food that contains the nutrients needed by young children is the best choice. At this time, children will inevitably lack appetite due to illness. Avoid giving your child sweetened syrup, as overly sweet syrup will reduce their appetite.

4. Deliberately increase the intake of vitamin C and vitamin B.

5. Keep the room quiet and well-ventilated; fresh air can improve the quality of your child's rest.

6. It is not recommended to cover the child too tightly when he is resting or sleeping, as this will prevent the child from dissipating heat well.

7. Parents should bathe their children regularly to keep their skin clean, which will help them detoxify. When your child sweats, wipe him/her dry in time to prevent him/her from catching a cold or getting an infection.

8. When the child's body temperature reaches above 39 degrees Celsius, parents can choose physical methods to lower the child's temperature. Wipe the body with warm water, or you can use 37°C alcohol to wipe the child's body. It is not recommended to use alcohol to cool down children who are too young. If parents are not clear about the alcohol content, they should not use it casually to avoid damaging the child's skin.

9. Roseola infantum does not cause any harm to the child, and the child does not need to be "confined to home". However, Chinese medicine believes that children with roseola are weak and those who sweat too much should not go out in the wind.

10. During the illness, some babies will become very dependent on their mothers due to psychological needs. At this time, it is best for mothers to do their best to satisfy their children, give them comfort, and further cultivate their feelings.
