Newborns stretch frequently

Newborns stretch frequently

In everyone's impression, all newborn babies sleep and feed every day. It seems that babies at this age are very easy to take care of. Newborn babies at this time also have many postures when sleeping. Every time mothers see babies in various sleeping postures, they feel very happy. When observing the baby sleeping, many mothers will find that newborn babies will stretch frequently.

Reasons why newborns stretch frequently

1. Disease factors:

Intestinal parasites in children are the most common cause of restless sleep in young children. Such as parasitic diseases.

2. Environmental factors:

When a child is sleeping, if the light in the room is too bright, or if family members are watching TV or talking and laughing loudly, it will disturb the child's normal sleep. Children tend to kick off the quilt at night, or the quilt is too thick and heavy, which will cause the child to be too cold or too hot when sleeping, causing the child to be restless and move his hands and feet around, which is also a common cause of waking up easily during sleep.

3. Excessive excitement:

Some children play too much during the day or before going to bed, which often causes difficulty falling asleep.

Why Babies Sleep Restlessly

Pay attention to whether there are pinworms outside the anus. Food accumulation, indigestion, getting angry or eating too much at night can also cause restless sleep. It is recommended to feed solid foods such as porridge and noodles at least two or three hours before going to bed, and then drink a little milk before going to bed. Some diseases can also cause poor sleep, such as calcium deficiency and rickets, which can also cause disturbed sleep. Of course, easy fright, excessive sweating, night crying, stomach pain, etc. This is most serious when the baby is 9-18 months old. In addition to being attached to and unwilling to be separated from parents and very familiar people, being afraid of strangers, and having a strong sense of self-protection in unfamiliar environments, it is also manifested in waking up more often during sleep at night and sleeping lightly.

Ways to help your newborn baby sleep

Know the signs that your baby is tired

During the first six to eight weeks, most babies cannot stay still for more than two hours. If you take a long time to put your baby down, he may be overtired and have trouble falling asleep.

Watch your baby for signs that he's tired. Does he rub his eyes, tug at his ears, or just be more fussy than normal? If you notice these or other symptoms like lethargy, try putting him to sleep. You'll soon get a feel for your baby's daily rhythm, and you'll instinctively know when he's ready for a nap.

Do more exercise

When your child is awake, exercise as much as possible during the day, keep the house and her room brightly lit, and reduce normal daytime noises like cell phones, music. If she tends to sleep through feedings, wake her up.

Keep the evening hours quiet

At night, don't play with him when he is awake. Keep the lights and noise levels low, and don't spend too much time talking to him. Soon, he should start to figure out that it is nighttime sleep.

Schedule

You probably won't start too early to try to follow a bedtime routine. You can simply put your baby to sleep, sing a lullaby, and give her a goodnight kiss.

Give your baby a chance to fall asleep on his own

Some experts recommend doing this when your baby is sleepy but still awake. They recommend not rocking or nursing your baby to sleep, even at this age. Using this method, if your baby falls asleep during a feeding, gently rock him awake before putting him to bed.
