Nowadays, environmental pollution in society has led to many cases of neonatal malformations, which has seriously affected the health of young children. Therefore, many neonatal malformations have made many pregnant women worried. So what causes neonatal malformations? Well, let me introduce to you why this problem occurs. 1. Classification by site and system of occurrence This is a commonly used classification method in clinical practice. Congenital malformations will be classified according to the circulatory, digestive, nervous, urogenital, respiratory, skeletal and other systems, as well as those occurring in different parts of the body such as the skin, limbs, eyes, ears, and nose. 2. Classification by severity of deformity (1) Those who have no chance of survival after birth (such as anencephaly, bilateral renal agenesis); (2) Those who need urgent treatment after birth (such as esophageal atresia and intestinal atresia); (3) Those who can survive after birth but whose functions are affected (such as some congenital heart diseases and bone deformities); (4) Although there are deformities, they do not affect health (such as polydactyly and accessory spleen). 3. Classification by external and internal malformations (1) Deformities visible on the body surface: visible to the naked eye. Such as limb deformities, cleft lip, body wall defects, anal atresia, etc.; (2) Visceral malformations: It is not easy to see the deformities during a general physical examination, and a systematic examination and various special examinations are often required to confirm the diagnosis. Such as urinary tract malformations, digestive tract malformations; (3) Multiple malformations: Several malformations exist simultaneously in one system or in two or more different systems, such as esophageal atresia with anal atresia, omphalocele and diaphragmatic hernia with intestinal malrotation, and multiple malformations caused by chromosomal aberrations. 4. Classification of malformations in single and multiple pregnancies (1) Malformations in single-fetal pregnancy: local or systemic tissue and organ malformations or incomplete embryonic differentiation and development; (2) Malformations in multiple pregnancies: They may be local or systemic malformations of tissues and organs or malformations involving two or more fetuses, such as conjoined twins and parasitic twins. The above is my opinion on this issue that I would like to introduce to you. Pregnant women should undergo regular check-ups during pregnancy to ensure that the fetus will not have deformities that seriously affect the health of the fetus. Therefore, if there are problems with the fetus, you should consult a doctor for treatment in time. Finally, I wish the fetus a speedy recovery. |
