My baby has not defecated for two days and only farts

When babies are very young, their daily diet is almost entirely arranged by their parents. They will only cry when they are hungry, and their parents will start feeding them according to the pre-arranged plan. Therefore, the baby's health is also a major concern for parents. Once the baby is uncomfortable, parents will definitely wonder if there is a problem with the baby's diet. For example, some babies only fart after eating and have no bowel movements for two days. What is the specific reason for this?

First of all, it should be said that this is normal. If the stool is mushy or soft, no special treatment is needed. This is a phenomenon of constipation. It is because breast milk is easy to digest and absorb, and the residue produced is small, which is not enough to stimulate intestinal defecation. Therefore, it is normal to have a bowel movement once every five days.

For babies who have just turned one month old and have just come into contact with this world, they are likely to have some symptoms of "acclimatization". At this time, parents will become very worried, and some may even feel anxious. For example, some full-month babies have not defecated for two days and fart a lot. This is serious constipation. So what is this symptom?

My one-month-old baby hasn't had a bowel movement for two days and keeps farting

1. As long as you don’t cry or make a fuss, it’s normal. All babies have times when they feel constipated.

2. Feed more boiled water and don’t eat too much greasy food.

3. Mothers should rub their baby’s belly in a clockwise direction.

Will babies fart when they have a full stomach?

It is a common phenomenon that babies will fart when they have a stomachache. Parents and friends do not need to panic.

1. Massage your abdomen. Let the child lie flat, exposing his belly (be careful not to pull the clothes too high to prevent cold). Gently rub the abdomen in a clockwise direction for 1-3 minutes. Then massage the Weiwan acupoint for 2 minutes.

2. Pinching the spine. Let the child lie prone on the bed, and the parents put their thumbs and index fingers together, starting from the Changqiang point, and pinch upwards along the spine, pinching the skin and flesh and then letting go, continuing to pinch until the hairline of the neck (Dazhui point). Pinch once or twice a day, 5-10 times each time. It is effective when the skin on both sides of the spine becomes flushed.

3. Put the hawthorn in a casserole and boil it into a thick juice. Then add rice and some brown sugar and cook it into porridge. It can be eaten after about half an hour.

Babies who have just turned one month old are still prone to diseases. After all, they are too young and often cannot resist the invasion of germs. At this time, parents must remember not only to feed their children well, but also to control the amount of milk their children drink and some hygiene issues of the baby's body. Only by taking certain measures in all aspects can the baby's living environment become better and its development be more complete.
