Tips to help your child fall asleep quickly

Tips to help your child fall asleep quickly

Nowadays, due to the pressure of life, coupled with the need to be busy with work and take care of children, people will feel physically and mentally exhausted. Many children choose not to sleep at night because they are overly excited. This will cause confusion to people, so it is very important to find a way to make children fall asleep quickly. You can learn from here.

Methods/Steps

Be sure to turn your bedroom into a sleeping environment: first, it must be quiet, dark and dim. In fact, you need to adjust the temperature of the room and the room should not be too dry!

Follow your own personality: It is easier to switch to sleep at night, and the body knows when it is time. You can do something to prepare yourself mentally for sleep (read a book, take a few minutes to take care of personal hygiene, or fantasize). Going to bed and getting up every day is also important!

Make sure your bed is used only for sleeping: avoid working, reading or watching TV in bed. If you want to associate sleeping with your bed, then what you need in bed is a deep sleep, not tossing and turning.

Control your stomach: Being too full or too hungry will interfere with sleep, so don't eat a big meal before going to bed. Or you may be too hungry to fall asleep. If your stomach is still full when you go to bed, stomach acid will flow into your esophagus. If you are really hungry, you can eat some snacks rich in carbohydrates, which can trigger the release of brain proteases and help you relax your body and mind. (Try whole-wheat crackers or oatmeal with some milk; these foods are rich in amino acids that promote sleep.)

Take a shower: Take a hot shower 1 to 2 hours before going to bed. When you get out of the tub your body temperature will gradually drop, making you feel tired. However, don't wash it right before going to bed, as that will make you excited and you won't be able to sleep.

Invest in a good bed: A bed shouldn't be too soft, which can cause poor sleeping posture (which can lead to muscle stiffness and back problems). If your mattress sags when you get up, it's too soft and should be replaced with one that's more comfortable.
