Why do little boys have big breasts?

In life, we all know that girls' breasts will gradually grow larger as they grow up, but some little boys also have enlarged breasts. Generally, enlarged breasts in little boys are a symptom of breast enlargement caused by estrogen disorder in the child's body. In this case, it is best to take the child to the hospital for examination and diagnosis. Usually, let the child eat less out-of-season food and develop good living habits.

What to do if male breasts are too large

Mild gynecomastia is mostly temporary and normal.

In addition, some cases that occur during puberty are related to congenital testicular dysgenesis. Patients sometimes have signs of femininity, such as a high-pitched voice, no beard on the face, and wide hips, and are sometimes combined with genital malformations such as pseudohermaphroditism, hypospadias, or cryptorchidism.

Gynecomastia in late adolescence or adulthood is often accompanied by endocrine diseases, especially benign and malignant adrenal tumors. It can also be seen in testicular tumors, especially choriocarcinoma, teratoma and other stromal cell tumors, or secondary to testicular atrophy, such as Kleinjaert syndrome.

Gynecomastia can also occur in patients with impaired liver function due to cirrhosis, starvation, and malnutrition. This is because the liver loses its ability to regulate and balance estrogen and testosterone, causing breast development.

Patients with diseases such as hyperthyroidism, chronic nephritis, and long-term users of drugs such as spironolactone and isoniazid also often suffer from breast hypertrophy.

1. A conservative approach should be taken in treatment, especially for mild breast hyperplasia that occurs in early adolescence, most of which will disappear after 1-2 years.

2. However, if the breasts are excessively enlarged or persist for 1-2 years, treatment should be given. It can be removed surgically.

The simplest and most direct treatment method is simple excision of breast tissue while preserving the nipple, areola and skin. For breast enlargement secondary to other diseases, the primary lesion should be treated first.

How to Treat Gynecomastia

Surgery

One method is to create a more masculine silhouette through liposuction alone. Small incisions are made around the nipples and the fat is sucked out using a small, hollow cannula instrument. It is an outpatient procedure and recovery generally takes only a few days.

2. Another method is for the surgeon to make an incision around the areola and then separate the extra tissue, fat and skin in the breast to remove excess fat and other tissue.

Nonsurgical treatment

1. Keep a good mood, don’t stay up late, and check regularly. Do not use drugs and cosmetics containing estrogen, do not eat spicy food, and avoid smoking and drinking.

2. The treatment is mainly to soothe the liver and relieve depression, resolve phlegm and disperse nodules; for deficiency syndrome, nourish the liver and kidney; for those with blood stasis, promote blood circulation and dredge collaterals. Commonly used liver-soothing and qi-regulating medicines include bupleurum, cyperus rotundus, and toosendan fruit; stomach-soothing and phlegm-resolving medicines include Poria, dried orange peel, and Pinellia; softening and nodule-dispersing medicines include Fritillaria and Taraxacum; liver and kidney-tonifying medicines include wolfberry, etc.; blood-activating medicines include fenugreek, etc.

3. The main thing is to keep warm and pay attention to your diet. Drinking more water can reduce irritation.
