Lumbar disc herniation and leg pain in children

Lumbar disc herniation and leg pain in children

Lumbar disc herniation is a very common disease that mostly occurs in people aged 20 to 50. The incidence rate is higher in men than in women. Some children also have the problem of lumbar disc herniation. During the development of children, the lumbar kyphosis has not yet formed. This is a normal phenomenon. There are no obvious symptoms and no special treatment is required. It can be solved by changing posture. However, if some children suffer from leg pain due to lumbar disc herniation, it should be taken seriously.

1. Everyone should be familiar with spinal disease, which is a common disease among many office workers. However, the degree of illness varies from person to person, ranging from mild to severe. Most elderly people suffer from spinal diseases to varying degrees. According to some national surveys in recent years, it has been found that the number of patients with cervical spondylosis is getting younger. Many children and young people have become victims of spinal diseases.

2. Children are in the growth period and their physical development is not complete. It is easy for them to develop this problem due to long-term neglect. Therefore, their sitting and standing postures must be strictly regulated. Try not to choose a bed that is too soft when sleeping. Choose a wooden bed with a harder surface to maintain the balance of the child's spine.

3. Supplement your children with more protein and calcium on a daily basis. Promote the increase of children's bone density, stabilize the nutrition of their bodies, do some exercise in their free time after studying, and relax the bones that have been in a state for a long time. Reduce spinal pressure. Take your child to the hospital for a regular check-up, listen to the doctor's advice, and assist your child in recovery.

Note:

Severe spinal diseases can induce many other complications, so they are very serious, especially for children in their growth and development period. Once you find that your child has this tendency, you should help the child correct it immediately. If the situation is serious, you should listen to the doctor's advice and do not make adjustments to the child privately to avoid harming the child's body.
