How to treat foaming at the mouth in babies?

Many babies have foaming at the mouth, which makes many parents worry, wondering if the baby has certain diseases. The baby's body is very fragile. Once suffering from certain diseases, it will seriously affect the baby's health. So how to treat babies with foaming at the mouth? Let me introduce this issue to you below.

Young parents, when you bring your lovely little angels home from the maternity hospital and your relatives and friends are surrounding your children and making them laugh, you must politely decline visits from people who have a cold. Even the throat of a normal person carries various viruses and bacteria, so avoid kissing the face and mouth of a newborn. To avoid passing pathogens to children through kissing. The delicate newborns may suffer from upper respiratory tract infections at the mildest and pneumonia at the worst. Neonatal pneumonia is often contracted through contact with adults or children who have a cold. Because newborns have weak resistance, bacteria or viruses can easily spread to the lower respiratory tract and cause pneumonia.

The symptoms of neonatal pneumonia and infant pneumonia are very different. Infants and young children often have fever and cough at the onset of pneumonia. Severe cases may also experience shortness of breath, cyanosis around the mouth, drowsiness, flaring nose, and refusal to eat. Neonatal pneumonia often does not cause fever. Sometimes the whole body is cold, the body temperature does not rise, and there is even no cough. When parents see their newborn baby foaming at the mouth, refusing to eat or cry, they should pay attention. If you find that the baby has poor reaction, blue or gray face, groaning and shortness of breath like an adult, the little nose flapping constantly, the little head moving in and out in sync with the breathing as the shortness of breath becomes worse (medically called nod breathing), and the soft tissue on the sternum and between the ribs becomes concave when inhaling, then the condition is already very serious and the baby must be rushed to the hospital for treatment without any delay.

The above is my opinion on this issue. If the patient has the above problems, then the patient needs to consult a doctor in time for corresponding examinations to avoid problems in the child without timely treatment. This is a very serious problem and can easily cause problems for the baby. Finally, I wish the patient a speedy recovery.
