How to deal with baby's sweat herpes

The baby's physical resistance is not as strong as that of adults, so its ability to adapt to the environment is not as strong as that of adults. Therefore, problems always arise, which causes great distress to the family. Sometimes babies will develop dyshidrotic eczema due to the environment. Parents don’t know what to do, so they especially want to ask: What should I do if my baby has dyshidrotic eczema? Let me introduce it to you below, and I hope it will be helpful to everyone.

1. Systemic treatment

① Patients with excessive sweating of hands and feet can use anticholine drugs, such as atropine, belladonna tablets, etc.

② Severe patients are treated with corticosteroids, such as oral prednisone 10 mg each time, 3 times a day. After the symptoms improve, gradually reduce the dosage and even stop the medication.

Topical treatments

① In the first stage, 1:20 compound copper sulfate or 3% alum solution can be used for soaking

② In the second stage, when there are blister lesions, apply 0.5% aluminum acetate solution or 5% alum solution to wet or soak the affected area.

③In the third stage, i.e. the off-cycle period, 3% salicylic acid ointment or cream can be applied externally.

④ Mix vitamin C injection, gentamicin injection, and dexamethasone injection in a ratio of 2:1:1 and apply to the affected area.

2. Traditional Chinese Medicine

Traditional Chinese medicine has a long history of treating dyshidrotic eczema, which was called ant nest as early as the Ming Dynasty. Since the symptoms are mainly deep blisters, it should be attributed to the dominance of dampness. The Traditional Chinese Medicine treatment for dyshidrotic eczema is multi-faceted. Combining internal and external treatments, combined with diet and emotional regulation, the following are internal treatments:

1. Syndrome of internal accumulation of damp-heat: There are deep blisters on the palms and soles, which are clustered together and are the size of a needle tip. They are itchy and can be broken into pieces with sticky yellow fluid. The patient is also accompanied by a red tongue with a greasy coating and a slippery and rapid pulse. Treatment should be based on clearing heat and removing dampness.

2. Syndrome of spleen deficiency and dampness excess: The blisters are the size of a needle tip to a grain of corn, translucent, with clear and thin blister fluid, occasional itching, accompanied by a pale and slippery tongue, and a moist and slippery pulse. The treatment should be based on the method of strengthening the spleen and removing dampness.

2. Diet therapy

1. Eat more vegetables and fruits that have the effect of strengthening the spleen and removing dampness, such as yam, sweet potato, winter melon, watermelon, red bean, and pumpkin.

2. Eat less spicy and greasy food, fatty food, wine and cheese.

Other treatments

Reduce contact with soap, alkali, washing powder, detergent, gasoline, alcohol and other substances; keep your emotions open and avoid emotional frustration; do not tear off the shed skin with your hands to prevent contamination and pus.

What to watch out for?

Usually, be careful not to wash your hands or soak your feet with water that is too hot or too cold, and wear breathable shoes to avoid skin irritation.

Try to eat a light diet, avoid spicy foods and seafood, stay away from tobacco and alcohol, and eat more fresh fruits and vegetables.

Remember to open windows for ventilation and avoid a humid and stuffy indoor environment. Maintaining a good mood and not getting angry can help improve recovery from illness.

After reading the above introduction, parents should know what to do if their baby has dyshidrotic eczema. Don't panic when your child has problems, and provide appropriate treatment. At the same time, if the condition is serious, you must go to the hospital for early treatment in time to prevent more serious problems.
