The child always feels itchy when sleeping

Children's skin is relatively delicate and is therefore very easily affected by the quality of external air. Some children will find that they always feel very itchy when they sleep, and they will reach out and scratch involuntarily. This method is wrong because it will allow the bacteria on the hands to infect the skin and may cause more serious diseases. Let's take a look at why children always itch when they sleep.

Young children's skin is delicate and easily lacks oil, which makes it easy for them to become dry, itchy and develop dry eczema. Guidance: Recommendation: If the baby has severe itching, you can take loratadine syrup orally, and apply mometasone furoate cream, desonide cream, etc. topically twice a day. Avoid scratching, eat a light diet, and avoid irritating foods such as beef, mutton, and seafood.

Considering it is infantile eczema, parents should not apply any medicine to the baby randomly. In addition to taking your baby to see a doctor and using medication, you should also pay attention to the following general methods of caring for dermatitis.

1. Keep the skin clean and dry. When bathing your baby, it is advisable to use warm water and non-alkaline bath agent to clean the baby's body. For babies with intertrigo, special attention should be paid to cleaning the folds of the skin. When taking a bath, the shower gel must be rinsed off. After washing, wipe the moisture off the baby's body and apply a non-oily moisturizer to avoid hindering the normal breathing of the skin. The baby's hair should also be washed every day. If the baby has seborrheic dermatitis, washing the head carefully can remove the scabs. If the scab has hardened and stuck to the head, apply olive oil on the affected area and then wash it after a while.

2. Avoid external stimulation. Parents should always pay attention to changes in temperature and humidity around the baby. Babies with contact dermatitis should especially avoid exposing their skin to cold wind or strong sunlight.

3. It may be caused by allergies and other factors, and the child needs to be treated with some anti-allergic drugs, such as pediatric chlorpheniramine granules.

Guidance: If conditions permit, it is best to take your child to test for allergens. If you can identify the allergens and stay away from them, you can reduce the probability of allergic attacks.
