Symptoms of emotional disorders in children

Emotional disorders are a type of mental illness. This type of emotional disorder occurs not only in adults but also in children. There are certain differences in the specific manifestations between children and adults. If a child has an emotional disorder, it should be given special attention to prevent the occurrence of other diseases and irreversible consequences. So what are the manifestations of emotional disorders in children?

Anxiety disorder: Anxiety disorder is generally manifested as shortness of breath, nervousness, headache, vomiting, chest tightness, insomnia, etc. Especially when facing separation from familiar relatives, or unable to adapt to school at the beginning, or introverted personality and not knowing how to communicate with others, etc., anxiety will occur.

Phobia: Phobia is generally manifested as inner fear, an escapist mentality, inexplicable nervous tension, rapid heartbeat, high blood pressure, etc. When encountering unknown things, they have a serious rejection and avoidance mentality and dare not face them; in learning, because of fear, they may avoid learning for various reasons.

Depression: Depression is mainly a mentality problem. If you are under great psychological pressure and have no one to talk to, your condition will only get worse if you are alone. The core symptoms include low mood, crying, decreased interest, decreased activity, dullness, few words, insomnia, and loss of appetite. However, one characteristic of depression is that the older you are, the greater the chance of getting the disease, because you experience more things, and the accumulation of small things will lead to more and more serious symptoms.

Obsessive-compulsive disorder: The meaning of compulsion can be interpreted as doubting oneself and forcing oneself. Even though I have clearly done something, I always doubt that I have not done it well. I can only feel at ease after checking it over and over again. I am suspicious and uneasy about all the big and small things in life. I can only calm down my emotions through repetition, forcing myself, and verifying. As a result, I do a lot of meaningless things.

Hysteria: The main manifestations of hysteria are anxiety, fear, sensitivity, etc., especially resistance to unfamiliar environments. Because the symptoms of hysterical attacks are diverse, often with false physical symptoms and neurological symptoms, it is easy to be misdiagnosed, especially when the physical disease is accompanied by certain mental factors.
