What to do if your child's pores are clogged

If you find that your child has clogged pores, you should pay more attention to it, because baby skin is generally tender and will not have serious skin problems. If clogged pores occur, it may be caused by insufficient care in daily life. At this time, you need to use skin care products containing nutrients such as fruit acid and lactic acid to apply to the skin to improve this situation.

Treatment mainly uses A acid, or products containing ingredients such as fruit acid and lactic acid to achieve the purpose of improvement in a maintenance manner.

The so-called "maintenance" means that there will be no immediate effect and it requires persistence. In addition, it is necessary to avoid excessive irritation of the affected area and moisturize appropriately.

In terms of treatment, simply applying moisturizer is not effective. If there is inflammation around the lesion, a weak steroid ointment is usually used to control the inflammation. Once the dermatitis is controlled, there is no need to apply steroid ointment.

For the treatment of keratotic lesions, you can use salicylic acid ointment, or ointment containing urea or lactic acid, or apply fruit acid to help exfoliate, or use topical A acid ointment for treatment. However, it should be noted that these treatments usually take several months to produce significant improvements, so patient treatment is very important.

Since keratinization is a disease related to keratin, the general treatment is to use exfoliating ointments as the first choice, such as A acid, fruit acid, salicylic acid and urea.

The effect of A acid is more profound, it can directly affect the cell nucleus and remove abnormal keratinization, and long-term use will achieve a certain therapeutic effect. In addition, urea has the function of retaining water and is also effective in removing dead skin cells. It is a topical medicine commonly used in clinical practice.

However, the production of keratin has a certain cycle, usually one month. However, these are only "treating the symptoms but not the root cause", because the innate genes cannot be changed, so the newly generated keratin will still have keratinized pores. Usually after a month, it gradually returns to its original appearance. This is the understanding that patients must have before treatment.

For those with more obvious symptoms, after bathing, use a cream containing urea and salicylic acid, apply it to the affected area, and scrub with a loofah for 5 seconds a day. If there is no irritation, increase the time by 5 seconds each week, up to a maximum of 20 seconds each time per day. When the papules are no longer obvious, the frequency of brushing can be reduced to once or twice a week, and a cream without salicylic acid can be used as a moisturizer instead.
