Ways to encourage your baby to speak

There are rules for when children should start talking when they are young. It is normal for children not to talk after one year old, but almost all children will start talking after one and a half years old. If a child cannot talk, it will cause parents to be particularly worried. Many parents worry that their children cannot talk because of illness. Children with intellectual development disorders may not be able to talk. So what are the ways to promote babies to talk?

The third stage (September to December) Learning to speak

At this time, the baby begins to imitate the pronunciation of adults, begins to associate words with corresponding things, and begins to understand the meaning of words.

Starting from about 2 to 3 months, when the baby is full and comfortable, he will make babbling sounds, like ai~ai, ei~ei, a~a~a, e~e~e, ou~ou~ou, hei~hei, etc. When the baby is about half a year old, he can make more sounds, such as ma~ma, ba~ba, da~da, na~na, etc.

Most of the time, babies' babbling is not imitation of adults. They do this to hear their own voices. They also use different voices to express different emotions. Babbling is different from real language and does not need to be taught, but parents can increase the frequency of their baby's babbling through smiling and encouragement.

When the baby is about 7 to 8 months old, he or she begins to respond to specific words. For example, adults often clap their hands while saying "clap, clap". After repeated repetition, as long as the adults say "clap", the baby will clap his hands. If you point at a cat and say "cat, cat" in front of your baby, after repeating it many times, whenever the adult says "Where is the cat?" the baby will turn around and look at the cat. In fact, the baby at this age cannot understand the meaning of these words, but only establishes a connection between words and objects after repeated stimulation from adults.

If the child cannot speak, try this method to make the child talkative. Children who are not talkative need guidance from their family. If the child's condition is not caused by illness, then the child is too autistic, or the child has been exposed to some bad stimulation. In this case, the child must be given psychological treatment to allow the child to relax and receive treatment.
