What are the symptoms of blood heat in children?

Blood heat is a term originally used in Traditional Chinese Medicine to describe a state of imbalance in the body due to internal heat. For children, the symptoms of internal heat are not just psychological discomfort, there may also be other obvious physical manifestations. Common symptoms are similar to those caused by internal heat, such as dry stool and reddish-yellow urine, but severe cases may even cause rashes on the skin surface in the early stages. It is actually very easy to identify when a child has blood heat, because the child will be in a very irritable state at this time.

In the early stages of the disease, the baby may develop a rash on his body, which may be coin-shaped or drop-shaped. The rash is usually flushed or dark red and can spread throughout the body, usually on the limbs. It can also start on the head and slowly spread throughout the body. Some children who suffer from blood heat only experience peeling of the hands and feet. After scraping off the skin, there will often be punctate bleeding in the affected area.

Children with blood heat usually have symptoms such as dry stools and red and yellow urine. Many parents blindly believe that this is caused by getting angry. However, things are not that simple. Children with blood heat not only have symptoms similar to getting angry, but observing the baby's tongue will also reveal that the child's tongue is red and the tongue coating is relatively yellow. Some children have thicker tongue coating at the root of the tongue. Not only that, children with blood heat generally prefer to eat fried foods or cold drinks. If this habit is not changed for a long time, it will also cause the baby to suffer from symptoms such as weak spleen and stomach.

Babies with blood heat usually have oily faces, and their skin is often flushed. They are prone to acne on their faces, and they have a bad temper and often get angry over trivial matters. In addition, it is easy to get nosebleeds, the sleep quality is not very good, and there are often many dreams at night. If this continues for a long time, it will seriously affect the baby's physical development.
