What are the reactions of children when feeding?

The breastfeeding period is the favorite stage for parents. Babies in this period are very well-behaved and extremely cute. However, breastfeeding babies will show many reactions when feeding, which makes parents very curious. Let’s take a look at the baby’s reactions when feeding. I hope parents can understand this and find ways to correct some abnormal behaviors in time.

1. Impatient type

When these children see the breast, they can't wait to put the nipple into their mouths and suck it vigorously until they are full. The only problem with these children is that they like to bite nipples.

2. Excited

These babies are very excited when they are feeding. They are released from the nipple again and again, and then, instead of looking for the nipple again, they cry. These babies may need to be picked up and comforted several times before they can calm down and start feeding again. But after a few days, they were no longer so excited.

3. Slow type

There is no need to worry about breastfeeding problems for these children in the first few days. They will wait until the milk comes before they want to breastfeed. Forcing them to breastfeed will only make them more stubborn. But they all behaved well when the time came.

4. Taste the home style

These children first suck the nipple and then smack their lips for a while before they start breastfeeding. If you rush them, they get angry.

5. Intermittent

This type of child always feeds for a while, rests for a while, and then continues to eat. But there's no need to rush them; they can usually eat a full meal on their own terms, it just takes a little longer.

In the first few weeks, babies have all kinds of problems when breastfeeding, which makes breastfeeding very troublesome for mothers and makes them very annoyed. But even if you leave them alone, they will outgrow these bad habits on their own within a few weeks.

Children will get angry when they find that they are not getting enough milk. Maybe it's because they are very hungry, maybe it's because they can't sleep, or maybe it's because they are impatient by nature, so when they don't feel full, they will suddenly stick their necks back and cry loudly, then try to eat again, and if they can't eat, they will cry again. When a mother finds that her child is not full, she will become anxious, and anxiety in turn will further reduce milk supply, leading to a vicious cycle.
