Indications for children's amoxicillin dry suspension

Children's amoxicillin dry suspension is a drug for treating sensitive bacteria. For example, it has a good therapeutic effect on otitis media, tonsillitis or pharyngitis caused by hemolytic streptococci. It is a common antibacterial drug for children. In addition, it can also play a good therapeutic role in skin tissue infections caused by Escherichia coli or pneumonia caused by hemolytic streptococci.

Function and indications

Amoxicillin dry suspension, indications: Amoxicillin is suitable for the following infections caused by sensitive bacteria (non-β-lactamase producing strains):

1. Upper respiratory tract infections such as otitis media, sinusitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, etc. caused by hemolytic streptococci, pneumococcus, staphylococci or Haemophilus influenzae.

2. Urogenital tract infection caused by Escherichia coli, Proteus mirabilis, or Enterococcus faecalis.

3. Skin and soft tissue infections caused by hemolytic streptococci, staphylococci or Escherichia coli.

4. Lower respiratory tract infections such as acute bronchitis and pneumonia caused by hemolytic streptococci, pneumococci, staphylococci or Haemophilus influenzae.

5. Acute uncomplicated gonorrhea.

6. This product can also be used to treat typhoid fever, typhoid carriers and leptospirosis; amoxicillin can also be used in combination with clarithromycin and lansoprazole to eradicate Helicobacter pylori in the stomach and duodenum and reduce the recurrence rate of gastrointestinal ulcers. This product is a sugar-free (sucrose, glucose) formula and is especially suitable for children.

Precautions

Before taking the medicine, you should read the instructions in detail and perform a penicillin sodium intradermal sensitivity test. If the reaction is positive, the drug should be banned. For patients with monocytosis or lymphocytosis, skin rashes are likely to occur. In addition, cross-treatment with penicillins and cephalosporins may easily lead to drug resistance.
