What are the treatments for children's itchy throat and cough?

Children always feel that their throats are very itchy, and they keep coughing, and sometimes they have a runny nose. This may be due to throat inflammation, or it may be because the child has a cold. Long-term coughing in children is very harmful and may cause other complications. Therefore, timely symptomatic treatment is needed. In addition to going to the pharmacy to buy medicine, the following dietary therapies are recommended.

First, radish tea

Ingredients: 100 grams of white radish, 5 grams of tea.

Preparation: Brew tea leaves with boiling water for 5 minutes and extract the juice; wash and slice the white radish, put it in a pot and cook it until it is soft, then pour in the tea juice. Take 2 doses daily, warm and take at any time.

Note: Children under 1 year old should not consume honey.

5. Tangerine peel tea

Preparation method: Wash the tangerine peel with water, tear it into small pieces, put it in a cup, brew it with boiling water, and simmer it; pour out the tangerine peel juice, add sugar to the juice and stir well, and drink it instead of tea.

Efficacy: This tea can relieve gas, relieve cough, resolve phlegm, strengthen the stomach, relieve heat and remove fever. It is suitable for people with weak spleen and stomach, cough and asthma. It can also make the skin healthy.

6. Onion Honey

Onions and honey are both very effective natural expectorants. Cut the onion into thin slices, put it in a deep bottle, then fill it with honey. Leave it for 10-12 hours and then take it immediately. Take one spoonful each time, 4-5 times a day.
