How to enhance your baby's immunity

How to enhance your baby's immunity

When a baby is just born, his or her own resistance is usually low, and he or she is very susceptible to viral invasion and congenital illness. Therefore, mothers will take various measures to enhance the baby's resistance. There are many ways to enhance your baby's resistance, such as: timely nutrition supplements, proper exercise for your baby, adequate sleep for your baby, vaccinations, cautious use of medications, etc. The following is a detailed introduction.

How to enhance your baby's immunity

1. Nutritional supplement

If the baby is malnourished, it will be difficult for him to have strong resistance. Therefore, parents should pay attention to supplementing their babies with important nutrients needed for human growth, such as protein, fat, zinc, iron and vitamins.

2. Physical Exercise

Whether it is spring, summer, autumn or winter, proper physical exercise is always beneficial and has no harm. Going outdoors to sunbathe or taking a walk with your parents are both good ways to exercise. Not only can you breathe fresh air, but you can also strengthen your physical fitness.

3. Get enough sleep

If you don’t get enough sleep, the number of T cells in your body that fight disease will decrease, making you more susceptible to illness. Therefore, babies should try to maintain eight to ten hours of sleep every day.

4. Use medication with caution

It is best to use antibiotics as little as possible. Some parents think that their babies must be given intravenous drips and take medicine when they are sick. In fact, this is very unscientific. Some minor illnesses such as colds can be overcome through parental care, diet therapy and the baby's own antibodies. If antibiotics are used all the time, it can easily cause a decrease in the number of T cells in the baby's body and a lack of activity. When the doctor prescribes antibiotics for your baby, you must follow the doctor's instructions and cannot decide the dosage and time of use on your own.

5. Vaccination

Vaccines help enhance resistance to bacteria and viruses and create immune groups. Parents should pay attention to vaccinating their babies on time. For example, the baby can be vaccinated with influenza vaccine after he is six months old.
