How do children take intestinal worm clearing?

How do children take intestinal worm clearing?

Enteric worm clearing is an edible medicine used to eliminate parasites in the human body. Its medicinal properties are very strong, so you must pay special attention to the dosage. If you take it improperly, you will experience symptoms such as dizziness, weakness in the limbs, and nausea. Moreover, children have poorer physical fitness and are more susceptible to virus invasion, so special attention should be paid.

Directions:

1. For patients with single or mixed infections caused by ascaris, pinworms, whipworms, hookworms, etc., adults and children over 2 years old only need to take 2 tablets (400 mg). For patients with stercoralis or red nematodes, take 2 tablets a day on an empty stomach in the morning for three consecutive days. Generally, the disease can be completely eliminated in two days.

Adverse reactions of this drug include:

1. A small number of cases have digestive tract symptoms such as dry mouth, fatigue, drowsiness, dizziness, headache, nausea, and upper abdominal discomfort. However, they are all mild and can be relieved on their own without treatment.

2. When treating cysticercosis, especially brain cysticercosis, it is mainly related to the release of foreign proteins due to the death of cysticercosis. It usually occurs 2 to 7 days after taking the medicine, and symptoms such as headache, fever, rash, muscle aches, visual impairment, and epileptic seizures may occur. Appropriate measures must be taken (application of adrenal cortical hormones, intracranial pressure reduction, anti-epileptic treatment, etc.).

3. In the treatment of cysticercosis and echinococcosis, due to the large dosage and long course of treatment, alanine aminotransferase may increase, which usually returns to normal after stopping the drug.
