How to perform massage treatment on children’s colds?

I believe that parents are very familiar with the situation of children catching colds, and in most cases, children can be cured without taking any medicine. In fact, for children's colds, you can also use massage to treat them, but this massage requires massaging the acupoints to achieve the therapeutic effect, so you must have an accurate understanding of the acupoints so that the treatment will be effective.

1. Open the Sky Gate, push the Kan Palace, and move the Sun 200 times each.

Open the sky gate: Let the child lie on his back, and the parent holds both sides of the child's head with four even-numbered fingers, and alternately pushes the two thumbs upward from between the child's eyebrows to the front hairline on the forehead.

Tui Kan Palace: I often jokingly call it "touching eyebrows". It means using the posture of opening the sky gate, using the two thumbs to push from between the two gates of the child, along the brow bones to the left and right to the position of the temples on both sides.

Move the sun: Use the middle finger to press and rub the temple (this acupoint is often used when doing eye exercises, so everyone should be familiar with it).

These three actions can dispel wind, induce sweating, relieve symptoms of headache and clear the head.

2. Clear the lung meridian 200 times.

The lung meridian is on the child's ring finger. As mentioned earlier, pediatric massage is usually performed on the left hand and not the right hand, so it is sufficient to only do the left hand. The parent holds the child's left ring finger with one hand, exposing the palm of the ring finger, and uses the thumb of the other hand to push from the base to the tip of the finger.

Clearing the lung meridian can dispel wind and relieve exterior symptoms.

3. Rub the lung point 100 times. The Feishu point is on the child's back.
