Children's oral ulcers are caused by them

Compared with other diseases, oral ulcers are a disease with a very high incidence rate, and the chance of occurring in children is also very high. For example, trauma, bacterial infection, lack of vitamin B, and excessive cold and heat in the body are all key causes of this disease. In this case, in addition to supplementing the baby with adequate nutrition, it is also necessary to help the baby exercise properly to reduce the cold and heat factors in the body.

1. Traumatic

Mainly caused by abrasions, punctures, bacterial infections, etc., this type of ulcer is a one-time ulcer and is relatively easy to heal. Generally, applying some medicine will cure it in about 3 or 4 days, and it will not recur.

2. Lack of Vitamin B

Oral ulcers in children lacking vitamin B can easily cause various oral inflammations:

Angular cheilitis often causes symmetrical white erosions and cracks at the corners of the mouth. The cracks extend horizontally about 1 cm from the corners of the mouth and are covered with yellow scabs. There is generally no spontaneous pain, but pain may occur when the wound is opened excessively or secondary infection occurs.

In cheilitis, the lips change from bright red, fiery red to dark purple, and become smooth and shiny. Occasionally, the lips may swell, dry, scale, or peel and erode, with a burning or stinging sensation. Some people have more and deeper longitudinal clefts on their lips, which are more obvious on the upper lip.

In the early stages of glossitis, the tongue becomes dry and there is a burning or tingling sensation. Then the tongue swells and becomes bright red (magenta), and the fungiform papillae become swollen and congested. Then the filiform papillae and fungiform papillae atrophy and then disappear, making the tongue surface smooth and shiny, presenting as atrophic glossitis, sometimes presenting as geographic tongue, sometimes with cracks or small ulcers on the tongue surface, and some patients have oral mucosal ulcers.

3. Caused by excessive cold and heat in the body

High-calorie foods or dry weather can easily cause overheating of the heart and spleen. The heat rushes out of the body and fumes to the mouth and tongue, causing oral ulcers in children. People with poor physical constitution and coldness are also prone to ulcers. The treatment methods vary depending on the symptoms caused.

The spleen and stomach are in a state of excess fire, causing ulcers on the lips, thirst, bad breath, constipation, red tongue with thick yellow coating, and a strong and powerful pulse.

Treatment for children's oral ulcers: Clear stomach fire by eating cool foods such as watermelon, lotus seed core soup, winter melon soup, etc., or go to the pharmacy to buy some powder medicines, such as Bingpeng Powder, Liangge Powder, etc. The mouth ulcers caused by deficiency and cold are persistent and do not heal, with repeated attacks, accompanied by yellow face and cold limbs, abdominal distension and loose stools, pale tongue, white tongue coating, and weak and deep pulse. Treatment for children's oral ulcers: It is advisable to warm the spleen and kidneys and guide the fire back to its source. Children can eat foods with higher calories such as lamb, chicken, lychees, and brown sugar.
