What to do if a child has a rash? That’s the scientific method!

Rash is a common skin disease. There are many types of rash, the most common ones include macules, papules, roseola, maculopapular rash, etc. Because of the different types, the symptoms are also different. For example, if it changes to macules, the local skin color will change significantly, and may turn yellow or brown, which will cause certain damage to the skin. The following introduces methods for treating pediatric rashes.

1. Medication treatment

Skin rashes in infants are mainly caused by viruses and internal wind-heat. They are very similar to rubella, measles and scarlet fever. However, skin rashes in infants appear after high fever, while the other three appear during high fever. At this time, medication is needed. Appropriate antiviral drugs can be taken for treatment. Chinese patent medicines such as Shuanghuanglian oral liquid and pediatric clearing heat and detoxifying oral liquid can be used for treatment, which will not cause any harm to the body.

2. Massage Therapy

If you combine massage therapy with drug treatment, the baby's disease will be cured more quickly, and massage therapy is painless and has no side effects, so the baby will easily accept it. It mainly massages the cervical vertebrae from top to bottom, rubbing the baby's Fengchi point, temples, Sanguan, Liufu, etc. Each acupoint will take about four minutes. However, the baby's skin is delicate and easily injured, so a towel should be placed under the massage to avoid hurting the baby's skin.

3. How to treat children's summer rashes

When the temperature rises in the summer, many children begin to have itchy skin and develop symptoms such as rashes and red spots. Due to their weak self-control, children always scratch themselves, which aggravates the symptoms, causes them to cry incessantly, and annoys their parents. According to doctors' observations, the proportion of skin diseases among children in outpatient clinics increases every summer, and skin problems such as mosquito bites, eczema, heat rash, and diaper rash are more prominent. Although the causes are different, the symptoms are similar, all of which are rashes, red spots, and itching.

In fact, the causes of these skin diseases are similar. It is because children are not "refreshed" enough, sweat a lot, and do not wipe it off in time, which leads to skin diseases.
