How to supplement children's vitamin deficiency

Vitamins are essential nutrients for the human body. There are many types of nutrients. If you lack vitamins, it will have a great impact on your health. Strictly speaking, if a child lacks vitamins, it can easily affect his development and he needs to be supplemented in time. How can I supplement the vitamin deficiency of my child?

1. Breast milk, a natural vitamin C supplement

Breast milk contains more vitamin C, which can meet the baby's body needs. Babies who are breastfed are generally not prone to vitamin C deficiency, so mothers must insist on breastfeeding. Breastfeeding mothers can provide their babies with rich vitamin C by eating more vegetables and fruits rich in vitamin C.

2. Sunbathing is the best way to supplement vitamin D

You should take your baby out for outdoor activities often. Two hours of outdoor activities every day can prevent the occurrence of vitamin D deficiency. Even in winter, you should spend some time outdoors. Sunlight can convert certain substances in the skin into vitamin D. This activated vitamin D is easier for babies to absorb and utilize than artificially added vitamin D. In fact, "sunbathing" is the best way to supplement vitamin D, because the baby's buttocks absorb sunlight best. In addition to sunbathing, you can eat more foods rich in vitamin D in your daily diet, such as dairy products, fish, cod liver oil, nuts, etc.

3. Be cautious with vitamin K

If antibiotics are used, resulting in a decrease in the number of intestinal bacteria or a decline in their function, vitamin K will be relatively insufficient; vitamin K can reduce the efficacy of anticoagulant drugs, so be careful before taking them; if you experience allergic symptoms such as facial flushing, rash, gastrointestinal discomfort, itchy skin, etc. after taking vitamin K supplements, you should stop taking them immediately and consult a doctor.
