Diarrhea in adults is usually not considered a serious disease, and everyone has mastered many ways to solve it. However, if a child has diarrhea, parents must pay great attention to it. After all, children's gastrointestinal function is very fragile, and diarrhea can cause much greater harm to children. Children must eat correctly when they have diarrhea. The following are five foods that are safe to eat. 1. Carrot puree Ingredients: 1 carrot. Method: Take an appropriate amount of fresh carrots, wash and chop them, add water and cook or steam them until they are soft. Then take out the carrots, mash them into a paste with a spoon, and then add a small amount of the water used to boil the carrots. Reserve the carrot boiling water for later use. Do not add sugar to carrot puree to avoid aggravating diarrhea. When eating, add 5 to 10 grams of carrot puree to every 100 milliliters of carrot water on average. Efficacy: It can be used as auxiliary treatment for diarrhea in infants and young children, with significant effect. 2. Burnt Rice Paste Ingredients: millet and sugar in appropriate amounts. Preparation method: Take an appropriate amount of millet, grind it into powder, put it in a pot and fry it over low heat until it turns slightly yellow. When eating, add an appropriate amount of water and sugar to the burnt rice paste and cook it into a paste. Take it after it cools slightly, 2 to 3 times a day on average. Efficacy: Scorched rice paste has the function of absorbing corrupt substances in the intestinal cavity, so it has the effect of detoxifying and stopping diarrhea. 3. Lotus root starch Ingredients: Lotus root powder, brown sugar Preparation method: Take an appropriate amount of lotus root powder, dissolve it in water, add 5 parts of water to 1 part of lotus root powder, add a little brown sugar, and simmer until it becomes a paste. Eat it 2 to 3 times a day on average. 4. Chestnut porridge Ingredients: 15 chestnuts, 60 grams of rice. Method: Remove the outer skin of the chestnuts, blanch them in boiling water to easily remove the inner skin, then dry them and grind them into powder. Cook rice, water and chestnut powder together on low heat for one hour. Note that there must be 15 chestnuts. It is better to make it yourself. The ready-made chestnut powder bought outside is not pure. Efficacy: aids digestion, replenishes vital energy, stops diarrhea and strengthens the spleen. 5. Ripe Apples Ingredients: 1 apple. Method: Take 1 apple, cut it into small pieces with the skin and core, put it in warm water and boil for 3 to 5 minutes, eat it after it is warm, 2 to 3 times a day on average, with an average of 30 to 50 grams each time. When eating cooked apples, it is not advisable to add sucrose for seasoning, otherwise it will aggravate diarrhea. Efficacy: Apple is an alkaline food, containing pectin and tannic acid, which has astringent and antidiarrheal effects. |
