How to treat children's snoring? It turns out there are two ways

As we all know, snoring can be divided into two forms. One is even snoring, which is mostly caused by fatigue and generally does not require treatment. The other type is intermittent snoring, which is mostly caused by poor breathing. You must pay attention to it and get timely treatment. So how to treat snoring in children? Most mothers don’t fully understand this. In fact, there are two ways to treat snoring in children, one is conventional treatment and the other is surgical treatment.

1. General treatment

Currently, the treatment for snoring in children is still to surgically remove the child's tonsils and adenoids to relieve the stenosis caused by upper airway obstruction. Because adenoids can be divided into three types: globular, diffuse, and choanae type, especially the choanae type, sometimes it is difficult for doctors to completely remove it. The remaining adenoid tissue has a strong regeneration ability, and the child will have snoring symptoms again in about half a year. Some parents are worried that their children will not be able to endure the pain and bleeding, so they dare not let their children undergo surgery.

Today, many excellent medical institutions have introduced low-temperature plasma ablation systems to solve this worry for parents. The low-temperature plasma minimally invasive technology is used to shrink the enlarged adenoids. The patient will feel that breathing is smooth immediately after the operation. The operation is painless, has no effect on the surrounding normal tissues, and causes almost no bleeding. It is currently the preferred method for treating snoring in children.

2. Surgical treatment

“The advantages of the new plasma surgery for treating snoring in children:

1. Low temperature: 40-70 degrees Celsius, tissue damage is light, bleeding is less, and children can tolerate it.

2. Good effect: Real-time ablation during surgery, the effect is immediate and long-lasting without recurrence.

3. High safety: minimally invasive method, no electric current enters the human body.

4. Fewer complications: Submucosal ablation technology protects the mucosal function to the maximum extent, without nasal reflux and foreign body sensation.
