Babies who sleep lightly are easily frightened, parents should pay attention

Scientists have clearly stated that deep sleep is directly related to good quality sleep. Only by entering deep sleep can you get a good sleep. Babies are in the growth stage, and sleep is very important for them. If the baby sleeps shallowly, it will cause a lot of problems. Babies with shallow sleep are easily frightened.

1. The baby's sleep process is cyclical. In each sleep cycle, there are two forms of deep sleep and light sleep that cycle back and forth. When the baby enters the light sleep stage, he may show some sleep-disrupting behaviors such as moving eyes, head, limbs, and making sounds, which are generally normal. At this time, parents should not rush to disturb the baby or change his sleeping state. They can pat the baby appropriately and the baby may continue to sleep.

2. There are two situations in which babies sleep restlessly: one is physiological: this is an instinctive reaction, a way for babies to express their emotions and needs, which may be due to hunger, heat or cold, being frightened or disturbed by dreams, too much sleep during the day, etc. At this time, parents only need to make adjustments and comfort the baby according to the specific situation to calm the baby down and help the baby sleep well. There is also a pathological condition: it should be given enough attention. Any disease that causes pain, itching and other discomforts to the baby will make the baby sleep disturbed, such as fever, eczema, intestinal cramps, oral ulcers, pinworm infection, etc. In addition, babies who are calcium deficient usually suffer from sweating, bald spots on the back of the head, night terrors, irritability, etc. You can take your baby for trace element testing.

3. Parents should pay attention to the following before the baby goes to bed: 1. Do not let the baby have too much dinner, drinking milk once is conducive to better sleep; 2. Appropriately reduce various stimulations to the body, taking a hot bath and doing massage before going to bed is conducive to physical relaxation; 3. Do not dress the baby too much when sleeping, and the temperature of the bedding should be appropriate; 4. Parents should try their best to create a good sleeping environment for the baby. It is best to turn off the lights when the baby is sleeping to maintain a comfortable and quiet sleeping environment.
