The manifestations of autism, three aspects to tell you!

Autism, also known as autism in clinical practice, is a relatively common mental illness. Autism can be manifested in several ways. For example, patients will have certain obstacles in social interaction, and some patients may even have symptoms such as abnormal intelligence and language delay.

1. Social Aspects

1. Not interested in external things and not aware of the existence of others.

2. Lack of eye contact with others and failure to actively interact, share or participate in activities with others.

3. When it comes to being in groups, they have weak imitation abilities, fail to master social skills, and lack cooperation.

4. They have weak imagination and rarely engage in symbolic play activities using toys.

5. Becoming restless or reacting strongly to certain sounds, colors, foods, or lights.

6. They have weak reactions to cold, heat, and pain, so they lack awareness and appropriate responses to dangerous behaviors.

7. They will constantly turn their bodies or use unusual methods to explore objects, immersing themselves in some kind of sensory stimulation.

II. Development

1. About 30% of people have normal intellectual development, and 70% have delayed intellectual development or an IQ of 70 or below.

2. The development of abilities in various aspects is uneven, and the development process is different from that of normal children.

3. Communication

1. Slow and impaired language development, abnormal speech content, speed, and tone.

2. Have varying degrees of difficulty in language comprehension and non-verbal communication.

3. May lack the ability to communicate in spoken language.

4. Due to communication difficulties and inability to adapt to changes, they are more likely to be stimulated by emotions or environmental factors and exhibit impulsive or harmful behaviors.
