How to improve children's memory

How to improve children's memory

Many parents cannot accept the symptoms of children's memory loss, because children's memory loss is not a single thing. If a child's memory is reduced, then the child may be seriously affected in all aspects, and even cause the child's academic performance to decline again and again. In this way, the child is worried about the blame of the parents, and as parents, they are also worried about the condition of the child. So how to strengthen the child's memory is better?

1. Enrich children’s living environment

Only with life experience can there be memory. Some children are very young, but because they are "knowledgeable", they can remember and talk about a lot of things they have seen and heard. Provide children with a rich and colorful living environment from an early age, let them play with toys of various colors (such as mandalas), sounds, and activities, listen to music, talk to them more, read nursery rhymes and poems to them, tell them stories, take them to parks, zoos, and shops, play games with them, etc. These will leave a deep impression in their minds and remain remembered for a long time. These impressions will cause associations when encountering new things, helping children remember new objects.

2. Start by cultivating children’s attention

Without paying attention to the memorized material, the memory will naturally disappear like a passing cloud. Therefore, in order to improve children's memory, training children's attention should be the first step in the entire training process. When it comes to children with attention deficit disorder, you should not be impatient, and certainly not force them to act according to your wishes. You can pay attention to observe your child. If the child is interested in something, then we can use this thing as a starting point and let the child maintain his attention on this thing for as long as possible. As long as the child can persist a little longer each time, parents should feel gratified.

3. Establish a regular work and rest system

A regular schedule can effectively help children establish the concept of time and prevent them from forming a confused concept of time and space in their brains. In the early stages of implementing the work and rest system, parents can arrange their children's activities while telling them: "It's 12:30. Now it's lunch time, baby, it's time to eat." "It's 1:30, baby, it's time for a nap." "It's 4 o'clock, baby, you can play with toys." Establishing the correct concept of time and space can invisibly strengthen children's memory.

In fact, when enhancing children's memory, all aspects need to be improved. For example, if a child's memory is not good, then at this time parents must give their children reasonable guidance to prevent them from thinking about some problems randomly, which leads to memory loss. Do not impose learning pressure on children, otherwise their memory will decline very quickly.
