How to cure a child's stuttering?

I believe that many parents want to know how to treat stuttering in children, because now we find that many children stutter when they speak, but parents don’t know much about the treatment of stuttering, so naturally, the correction of children’s stuttering cannot achieve good results. Therefore, the following are some specific recommendations for parents and friends, some effective methods to treat children’s stuttering.

. Provide language correction training for children

*Speak steadily: When speaking, your emotions should be stable, your muscles should be relaxed, and your breathing should be even.

*Speak slowly: Speak slowly. Think before you speak, don't speak while thinking.

* Clear voice: Pronounce and read each word one by one, especially the first word of each sentence, and speak it softly and slowly.

* Lengthen vowels: a, o, e, i, u and other vowels should be lengthened.

*Practice more often: Let your children sing, recite nursery rhymes, tell stories or retell happy things in different scenarios, such as at home, in kindergarten, and at school, to improve their speaking coherence.

7. Take medication when necessary

Most children do not require medication. However, for children with stuttering and severe anxiety symptoms, small doses of anti-anxiety drugs, such as Valium, can be used under the guidance of a doctor.

If parents can use these methods correctly for treatment and correction, then some speech training of the child can achieve very good results, which will naturally have a good effect on alleviating stuttering. Because the children themselves do not understand these problems very well, parents need to take more responsibility and help.
