How to treat chronic rhinitis in babies?

I believe many friends have heard of chronic rhinitis, because this disease is a relatively common disease in our daily life. If we do not pay attention to dust prevention or keeping warm, it will easily cause this disease. For treatment, you can choose nasal drops or massage methods. So how to treat baby's chronic rhinitis?

Method 1: General treatment mainly uses nasal drops. The specific operation is: when applying the medicine, the nostrils should face upwards and the head should be tilted back to prevent the medicine from flowing into the mouth. 3 to 5 drops can be applied to one nostril each time. Keep the head in the same position for 5 minutes after applying the medicine. Use the medicine 3 to 5 times a day. However, this method is not suitable for long-term use, and the drug solution may easily flow into the throat due to improper operation. It is especially unsuitable for children with chronic rhinitis.

Method 2: Treatment with traditional Chinese medicine. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that chronic rhinitis is mainly caused by deficiency of lung and spleen qi and stagnation of qi and blood stasis. Chronic rhinitis should be treated mainly by tonifying the lung and spleen and clearing the nasal passages. The specific method is: 10 grams of Xanthium sibiricum, 10 grams of Angelica dahurica, 10 grams of Magnolia officinalis, and 3 grams of mint (added later). For chronic hypertrophic rhinitis, add 10 grams of Chuanxiong and 10 grams of red peony root. For those with a lot of runny nose, add 10 grams of Pinellia, 12 grams of Poria, and 12 grams of wax gourd seeds. However, Chinese medicine therapy takes a very long time, and the drug ratio must be strictly followed and taken on time, which is very troublesome.

Method three: Massage therapy: pinch both sides of the bridge of the nose with the thumb and index finger of your right hand, and push up and down with a little force, from the bottom of the inner corner of the eye to the top of the nose, for 10 minutes each time, twice a day. Although massage can play a moderate role in dredging the meridians, the strength of the massage and whether the massage can be persisted for a long time determine whether this method can produce results. Even if it is used consistently, it cannot fundamentally cure chronic rhinitis. Method four, acupuncture treatment: select acupoints such as Yingxiang, Yintang, Taiyang, Fengchi, Quchi, Zuzhongli, etc., 2-3 points each time, with strong stimulation. Acupuncture treatment is not something that ordinary people can perform at home. It requires a professional acupuncturist to perform it. Therefore, it is not universal, and long-term acupuncture is also quite painful for patients.

The above is some introduction on how to treat baby's chronic rhinitis. For this disease, as long as we choose the correct treatment method in life, it can be cured. If the method is wrong, it is likely to cause the nasal congestion to become more serious. You can choose some of the methods introduced above according to the actual situation of your baby.
