Among them, the more serious one is that the child is prone to encephalitis. So today the editor is here to talk to you about what to do if the child has brain? How should parents take their children to receive treatment and recover in daily life? I hope this can effectively help all parents.

Encephalitis refers to an inflammatory lesion caused by the invasion of brain parenchyma by pathogens. The vast majority of causes are viruses, but they can also be caused by infections such as bacteria, fungi, spirochetes, rickettsia, parasites, etc. Some may be allergic diseases, such as acute disseminated encephalomyelitis.

Encephalitis usually refers to viral encephalitis and post-infectious encephalomyelitis, which is acute disseminated encephalomyelitis. Encephalitis can occur in different genders and ages, and is usually acute or subacute. Clinically, it is characterized by symptoms such as high fever, headache, vomiting, coma, and convulsions, most of which are accompanied by changes in cerebrospinal fluid composition. Prevention and treatment should be carried out according to different causes.

Symptomatic treatment:

(1) Glucocorticoids hydrocortisone or dexamethasone are added to 5% glucose solution and dripped intravenously. Start with a higher dose and gradually reduce it. The course of treatment should not exceed 1 month.

(2) Dehydration and diuresis: 20% mannitol intravenous drip. The course of treatment depends on the condition. Alternatively, glycerol fructose intravenous drip can be used.

(3) Cooling is mainly done by physical means.

(4) Antipsychotic drugs for psychomotor excitement can be chlorpromazine, fluphenazine or telden, and the dosage should be individualized.

(5) Reduce stress.

Therefore, in daily life, we should take children to do more physical exercises so that their bodies can have resistance to effectively resist viruses. It is also better to take children to do more activities outdoors so that they will not stay in the room for a long time. Let the children breathe fresh air and see new things. This will be beneficial to the child's condition.
