Introduction to treatment methods for ADHD

ADHD is a disease that often occurs in children during their childhood. If a child suffers from ADHD, many parents will devastate. After all, there are so many only children nowadays, and all parents place their hopes on their unique children. If a child really suffers from ADHD, it will be a huge blow to them. So how to treat ADHD?

Treatment:

>01 According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, ADHD in children is caused by the loss of control over the changes in movement and stillness. Because the yin is insufficient and cannot control the yang, the yang is excessive. This is caused by the imbalance of yin and yang, which can be manifested in two aspects: yin deficiency and yang hyperactivity and false yang floating. The visceral diseases are mostly manifested as dysfunction of the heart, liver, spleen and kidney. Children's heart is often in excess, and their heart fire is easily hyperactive, which manifests as restlessness and hyperactivity; children's liver is often in excess, and long-term illness depletes the liver's yin, resulting in liver yin deficiency and liver yang hyperactivity, which manifests as inattention and stubborn temperament; children's spleen is often insufficient, and if it is improperly cared for or injured by illness, the spleen will be disordered and lack of nourishment, which will manifest as loss of tranquility, changeable interests and rash speech; congenital deficiency or kidney yin loss after illness and insufficient marrow production will manifest as clumsy movements, forgetfulness and other symptoms. The results are all concrete manifestations of imbalance between yin and yang. Therefore, adjusting yin and yang is the general rule for treating children with ADHD.

>02ADHDers feel powerless to fit into rigid, stereotyped structures. Paradoxically, one of the best ways to treat ADHDers is to give them a very strict structure. Taekwondo and other martial arts or any structured sports such as ballet, figure skating, gymnastics, or newer sports such as rock climbing, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, and skateboarding can also be helpful for these children because they all require the use of complex movement skills while expending physical energy.

The motor skills inherent in these movements activate a range of brain areas involved in balance, timing, sequencing, consequence assessment, error correction in transitions, small muscle coordination, inhibition, and, of course, focus.

Experts say that the onset of ADHD in children is related to the amount of amino acids in their diet. Children who consume foods containing too much tyrosine or tryptophan, such as donkey meat, pork floss, duck feet, fish fillets, mussels, scallops, cheese, bean curd sticks, tofu skin, pumpkin seeds, etc., may develop ADHD. In addition, some international scholars believe that this disease is also related to children eating too much sugar and sweets. Excessive sugar intake can often cause endocrine system dysfunction, and children may develop ADHD. Certain foods containing methyl salicylate are also not suitable for children with ADHD.

When babies are still young, parents must pay close attention to their various changes. Once they find any abnormal symptoms, they must go to the hospital for examination in time. If your baby suffers from ADHD, parents can treat the baby according to the methods I introduced to you today. If the child still does not get better, I suggest that parents take the child to the hospital for safety.
