When does the baby's pylorus close?

When does the baby's pylorus close?

Many new parents are very worried about when their newborn babies' pylorus will close, and they are afraid that they will have some abnormal reactions. In fact, don't be so anxious. Their physiological reactions will gradually become normal with the passage of time. Generally, as long as the physical examination is normal, the baby will not have major problems. But you still need to pay attention to careful conditioning in daily life and never let them catch cold.

②Height

It is about 50 cm at birth, and generally grows 3 to 3.5 cm per month. It grows 10 to 12 cm at 4 months, and can reach about 1.5 times the size of the birth height at 1 year old.

③Head circumference

It is about 34 cm at birth, increases by 8 to 10 cm in the first half of the year, and 2 to 4 cm in the second half of the year, reaching an average of 46 cm at one year old. The growth rate slows down afterwards, reaching about 56 to 58 cm in adults.

④Chest

At birth, the chest circumference is 1 to 2 cm smaller than the head circumference. By the end of 4 months, the chest circumference is basically the same as the head circumference.

5. Brain

The baby's brain is still in a period of rapid development for a period of time after birth. The number of brain nerve cells continues to increase, and it needs sufficient, balanced and reasonable support of nutrients (especially high-quality protein), so the demand for calories, protein and other nutrients is particularly strong.

⑥ Language

A 12-month-old baby can not only say dad, mom, grandma, baby, etc., but also use some monosyllabic verbs such as take, give, drop, hit, hug, etc. The pronunciation is not very accurate, and they often speak in incomprehensible language or use gestures and postures to express themselves.

7. Sleep

You need 14 to 15 hours of sleep a day, 1 to 2 times during the day.

The growth rate of height and weight of young children is slower than that of infants under one year old. In the first year after birth, the baby's height increases by about 25 cm. After one year old, the growth rate gradually slows down. Within 1 to 2 years old, the annual height growth is about 10 cm; after 2 years old, it is even slower, with an average annual growth of about 5 cm.

From the age of 1 until school age, children gain an average of about 2 kilograms per year. Children usually gain more weight before the age of 3, and their height increases faster than their weight between the ages of 3 and 7. Children aged 1 to 3 years old still have a long trunk and relatively short lower limbs. Due to the increased activity level, the baby may not look as fat as in infancy, which is normal.

The development of a child's head is ahead of other parts of the body. During the years 1 to 3, the head circumference increases by 2 cm throughout the year; thereafter, until the age of 15, it only increases by 4 to 5 cm, reaching the adult head circumference. At birth, the chest circumference of a newborn is 1 to 2 cm smaller than the head circumference; the chest circumference of a child around 1 year old catches up with the head circumference; after 1 year old, the chest circumference exceeds the head circumference only at 12 years old. The development of teeth can reflect the development of bones. At the age of 1, the baby should have 6 to 8 deciduous teeth; at the age of 2 and a half, all 20 deciduous teeth should have come out. Changes in the cranial fontanelle reflect the development of the skull. Generally, the cranial fontanelle of a child aged one and a half years should be closed.
