How to treat pinched foot syndrome

How to treat pinched foot syndrome

Generally, children, especially girls, will suffer from pinched toes syndrome. However, as they grow older and gain more knowledge, the condition will get better and better, and gradually the condition will no longer exist. A few will retain this habit into adulthood, or make this movement unintentionally. In this case, they will need their mother's help to correct this habit. In general, pinched foot syndrome is not a big problem.

Treatment 1. Raise awareness: Since many doctors do not know enough about this disease, the key to preventing and treating this syndrome lies in early detection and early diagnosis. Once parents find that their children have signs of this syndrome, they should consult a child psychologist as soon as possible. Parents should understand the nature of this syndrome and should not scold or punish the children, nor should they forcibly stop the onset of the syndrome.

2. Timely diversion: When the child is about to have an attack or is having an attack, the parents should pretend to be calm and pick up the child for a walk, or give the child toys to play with, or "amuse" the child, or take the child out to play, in order to divert the child's attention. If you can persist, it will generally work.

3. Keep a regular schedule: Develop a good habit of sleeping on time, don’t go to bed too early at night, and don’t stay in bed late in the morning to reduce the chance of “leg clamping”.

4. Reasons for removal: Parents should pay attention to the hygiene of the child's perineum and remove all kinds of adverse stimulation. Parents should also pay attention to creating a good family environment for the child and give the child enough warmth and care. If the child has pinworms, eczema, etc., please seek medical treatment in time.

Triggering factors: 1. Excessive stimulation of the child's legs and perineum by parents, including too frequent cleaning, care and scrubbing; 2. Local itching and friction caused by pinworm disease, vulvar eczema or tight pants; 3. Increased sympathetic nervous system irritability due to calcium deficiency; 4. Some children lack maternal love or suffer discrimination, are not emotionally satisfied, and vent through self-stimulation.

If parents find their children behaving in this way, they should not blame or beat them. We need to communicate psychologically so that children can understand that doing so is not a good idea. If you criticize your child harshly, it will make him or her rebellious. And many times, children are not clear about the purpose of doing this, it is just a childhood habit.
