What are the effects of anger on children?

I don’t know if you have ever encountered a situation where parents lose their temper with their children, but as a teacher, we often see many parents lose their temper with their children for one reason or another. Sometimes no matter how much we try to dissuade them, it doesn’t work. Looking at the children’s aggrieved expressions, we all feel very uncomfortable. This morning I saw another parent getting angry at his child. The reason was that the child did not complete his homework on time as required by his mother. His words were also full of aggressiveness. Many elderly people could not bear it and tried to dissuade him but were also attacked. Getting angry at children is a very common thing, but do we know the effects of parents getting angry at their children?

1. When some people encounter children who are disobedient, they get angry and yell at the children. Because you lose your temper, your child has no choice but to listen to you and do what you say. But after that, the child no longer had his own opinions when doing things.

2. Losing temper will make family life full of gunpowder, making children feel insecure. Staying in such an environment for a long time will be detrimental to the growth of children. In the future, the child's personality will become hot-tempered, willful, and impulsive. It's even easy to have disagreements with others.

3. In family education, children are easily imitated by temper tantrums. I read a story before about a father who was often scolded by his boss. When he got home, he would argue with his wife. When his wife got angry, she would yell at her children. The innocent children would take their anger out on the pets at home. Therefore, losing your temper will only backfire and will not bring about any change. Losing your temper in front of your children is a sign of incompetence. It will not increase your authority as a parent, but will only make people think that you lack self-cultivation.

From the above introduction, we know that often getting angry with children will have a very big obstacle to their character and development. We all say that parents are the best teachers for their children. If parents often get angry with their children for a long time, this habit will gradually be passed down, which is very detrimental to the family and growth. We know that with the increase of various social pressures, many parents are very anxious, so they must learn to relieve stress themselves and not get angry with their children easily.
