Prostatic hyperplasia is a relatively common male disease. Patients with prostatic hyperplasia are generally middle-aged and elderly people. They usually feel some difficulty in urination and are prone to stinging pain when urinating. In addition, patients with prostatic hyperplasia are also prone to infertility, which will affect male sexual function. Let me introduce it to you today. There have been many studies on the pathogenesis of prostatic hyperplasia, but the cause has not yet been elucidated. It is currently known that prostate hyperplasia requires two conditions: functional testicles and aging. In recent years, attention has also been paid to the relationship between smoking, obesity and alcoholism, family history, race and geographical environment and the occurrence of BPH. The harmfulness of prostatic hyperplasia lies in the pathophysiological changes caused by lower urinary tract obstruction. The pathology varies greatly from person to person, and not all of them develop in a progressive manner. Some lesions will not progress further after reaching a certain extent, so even if mild obstructive symptoms occur, surgery is not always required. 1. Watchful waiting For patients with mild symptoms and IPSS score below 7, they can be observed and no treatment is needed. 2. Medication (1) Studies on 5α-reductase inhibitors have found that 5α-reductase is an important enzyme in the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone. Dihydrotestosterone plays a certain role in prostate hyperplasia, so the use of 5α-reductase inhibitors can inhibit hyperplasia to a certain extent. (2) α-receptor blockers: It is currently believed that this type of drug can improve urinary tract dynamic obstruction, reduce resistance and thus improve symptoms. Commonly used drugs include Gotelin. (3) The most widely used anti-androgen drugs are progesterone drugs. It can inhibit the cellular binding and nuclear uptake of androgens, or inhibit 5α-reductase and interfere with the formation of dihydrotestosterone. At present, there are relatively few children suffering from prostate hyperplasia. Most of them are middle-aged and elderly men. If you suspect that your child has prostate hyperplasia, it is best to take the child to the hospital for a detailed examination and timely treatment, otherwise it is likely to cause some very serious complications. |
