How to deal with eye discharge in children, mothers need to read

If a child has eye mucus, mothers should pay attention to certain treatment methods and techniques. You can drop a few drops of breast milk into the child's eyes, or find out whether it is caused by the child's getting angry. Give him more water and give him some anti-inflammatory soup.

1. Put a few drops of breast milk into your baby's eyes.

Breast milk has a certain anti-inflammatory effect. If you feel that your child has a lot of eye mucus and the corners of his eyes are slightly red, you can squeeze a little breast milk and drop it into the child's eyes. It will take effect the next day.

2. Observe whether the child's eyelashes grow inverted.

Many children's eyelashes grow inwards, which can easily cause eye discomfort, inflammation caused by rubbing the eyes, and a lot of eye mucus. In this case, you should go to the hospital to see a doctor, let the doctor check the condition of the eyelashes and prescribe measures.

3. If the child’s illness is caused by internal heat, give the child more heat-reducing soup and plenty of water.

Children's getting angry can easily cause increased eye mucus. You can give your child some mung bean soup and let him drink more water.

4. Boil mugwort water for your child to wipe his or her eyes.

Boil water with mugwort leaves, and wipe the area around the child's eyes with medical gauze dipped in the mugwort water. This can also effectively relieve the condition of excessive eye mucus in children.

5. If you see that your child’s eyes are red and the inflammation is severe, apply some erythromycin eye ointment.

I remember one time Guoguo's eyes were very red, so I called the doctor to take her in for a check-up. The doctor asked a few questions and said that it was normal and she didn't need to come, and that she could just use some erythromycin eye ointment. Sure enough, her eyes were healed the next day after using it.

Precautions

Children's eyes are very easy to get infected, so you must pay attention to eye hygiene and don't rub your eyes with your hands.
