How to treat ADHD in children?

Do you also have this problem? Your child is always moving around at home, as if he is full of energy and doesn't feel tired at all. If he doesn't move, he will feel itchy all over and very uncomfortable. He can't sit still and it is difficult to concentrate on studying. This is actually a manifestation of ADHD. How to treat ADHD in children? Does ADHD need treatment or will it heal on its own? Let me tell you the answer!

Director Zhu Junfeng, an expert in clinical diagnosis and treatment of ADHD, said that ADHD in children is a common developmental behavioral disorder in children. There are currently more than 20 million children with ADHD in my country. Given that many parents are confused about why their children suffer from ADHD, here we will explain in detail the reasons that may cause children to suffer from ADHD.

What causes ADHD?

1. Mild brain damage: such as viral infection and medication during pregnancy, perinatal hypoxia, influence of maternal pregnancy, neonatal asphyxia, birth injury, brain hypoxia, brain damage, cesarean section, premature birth, post-term birth, forceps birth, postnatal infection and trauma, etc. These children behave in a childish manner, are clumsy and have poor coordination.

2. Genetic factors: ADHD often runs in families, and many parents of children with ADHD were also hyperactive when they were young; twins and siblings often have symptoms of ADHD at the same time.

3. Lead poisoning: Lead poisoning is a popular theory, which often causes children to be hyperactive, irritable, and inattentive, leading to learning difficulties, poor academic performance and other problems.

4. Social and family factors: bad social environment, broken family, parents with bad character, unexpected mental stimulation, etc. can easily lead to children's inattention. Catecholamines are the guarantee for maintaining the normal signal conduction function of the central nervous system. Insufficient secretion will lead to synaptic signal conduction disorders, making the excitation and inhibition systems in the brain unbalanced, and showing obvious symptoms of ADHD such as attention deficit, hyperactivity, and impulsivity.

Diet therapy for children with ADHD:

The main cause of ADHD is high blood lead levels in children. Eating more foods rich in zinc and selenium, such as fish, lean meat, peanuts, sesame seeds, dairy products, mushrooms, eggs, garlic, etc., can effectively supplement zinc and excrete lead. Psychotherapy:

At home and at school. Parents, teachers and classmates should give children with ADHD understanding, sympathy, warmth, love and care. Provide them with help so that the children have the confidence to overcome difficulties, persist in treatment and defeat psychological barriers. Behavioral therapy:

Train children to participate in appropriate cognitive activities to improve their attention. The second is to reduce children's excessive activities and correct bad behaviors through specific training programs. When children's behavior tends to be good, they should be affirmed and praised in time to enhance their self-confidence. Provide scientific education to children with the disease, and avoid bad practices that damage children's self-esteem, such as harsh criticism, sarcasm, beatings, etc.

Children's ADHD is actually not very serious. It can be easily corrected and improved if it is controlled in time with the right methods. Parents can try the method I teach. I believe that children will be able to calm down and sit there quietly and concentrate on doing things. For children who are not good at studying, improving their attention in learning will also improve their grades quickly.
