At what age is it normal for girls to start developing

A girl's development time is directly related to the nutrients she consumes on a daily basis, so girls now develop much earlier than girls in the past. However, some parents find that their children are not even 10 years old but have already shown signs of development. Is this normal? In order to help you better understand this issue, this article will introduce to you at what age it is normal for girls to begin development.

Girls begin to develop around the age of 10, and their secondary sexual characteristics, as external changes in women, are more eye-catching: at the age of 9-10, breasts begin to develop, which is the first secondary sexual characteristic displayed by girls and a sign of puberty; at the age of 11, pubic hair appears; at the age of 12-13, the nipples and areola continue to increase in size, but still blend in with the entire breast outline; pubic hair continues to increase and develops toward the mons pubis and the middle abdominal wall, changing from thin to thick, and the pigmentation gradually settles.

Girls will have their first menstruation after they turn 13 (some girls earlier), but it is generally still irregular. In the first one or two years, the ovarian function is not yet complete or mature enough to ovulate. At the same time as or slightly after the first menstruation, axillary hair begins to grow, and pubic hair presents a unique female inverted triangle distribution, with the base parallel to the level of the pubic symphysis. Glands in the areola area develop, forming a second bulge on the fuller and enlarged breasts. At the age of 14-15, regular ovulatory menstruation may occur. The breasts are fully developed, with nipples protruding from the clearly defined breasts. At the age of 16-17, development is close to maturity.

It is important for parents to know at what age it is normal for girls to start developing. If your child develops too early, it is very likely that he or she is precocious, which needs to be controlled in time, because premature development will lead to the child's height being restricted, and premature development will also have a certain psychological burden on the child itself. Therefore, I hope that parents and friends will pay attention to this.
