What to do with cervical lymphadenopathy in children

Cervical lymphadenopathy in children is mainly caused by their poor resistance. The main manifestations are systemic poisoning symptoms such as loss of appetite and weight loss. Or you may observe swollen lymph nodes in the child's body. If not treated in time, chronic ulcers will develop and affect children. Parents should not be too anxious at this time. As long as the correct method is mastered, tuberculosis can be easily eliminated. So, what should we do with cervical lymphadenopathy in children?

There are three common reasons for swollen lymph nodes in the neck. The first is due to local inflammation, such as tonsillitis. If this is the reason, the swollen lymph nodes will not return to normal after the inflammation subsides, because the inflammation causes the "scars" in the lymph nodes to proliferate; the second is tuberculosis, and the third is tumors; the latter two have large single lymph nodes, and the lymph nodes are often adhered into clumps.

Treatment of lymphadenopathy. General treatment is to strengthen nutrition and enhance physical fitness. Commonly used drugs for anti-tuberculosis treatment include streptomycin, isoniazid, rifampicin, pyrazinamide, etc. For local treatment of patients with abscesses or fistulas, local pus extraction and flushing can be performed, followed by injection of anti-tuberculosis drugs.

Immunotherapy can be treated with transfer factor, levamisole, immune RNA, dead BCG skin scratches, and intramuscular injection of Scutellaria baicalensis. Surgical resection can be performed for a small number of larger solitary lymph nodes. 6. Traditional Chinese medicine treatment: Chinese medicine that promotes blood circulation and removes blood stasis.
