What should I do if my child has blisters on his fingers?

When we are splashed with boiling water or scalding oil, blisters usually appear on our skin. This situation is usually not very serious and can be controlled by applying some external ointments. However, some children will still get blisters on their fingers even though they are not scalded. Some even have symptoms of peeling. What should we do in this situation? Let’s take a look together below.

1. External plaster

During the blister stage, the main treatment should be astringent and antipruritic. You can apply Chinese medicine externally to the baby, or soak the baby's hands in 10% alum solution.

2. Oral Chinese medicine

20 grams of Rehmannia glutinosa, 15 grams of yam, 10 grams of Cornus officinalis, 10 grams of Moutan bark, 10 grams of Alisma orientalis, and 15 grams of Poria cocos. Add water to 15 grams of Saposhnikovia divaricata and 30 grams of Tribulus terrestris, decoct them and feed them to your baby.

3. Topical Vitamin C

Apply vitamin C injection to the baby's affected area twice a day, for a course of 3 days. It has a good effect on the recovery of skin lesions. Method: Wash the baby's hands first, wait until they are slightly dry, then pour vitamin C injection solution into the baby's palms, then use both palms to rub the solution evenly on the baby, and wash it off when the solution dries and turns white. Take 2 times a day, 2 ml each time.

4. Ginger therapy

You can give your baby an appropriate amount of fresh leek juice with brown and white sugar once a day. Taking it for 4 times in a row will be effective. Chop the ginger into pieces and soak it in white wine for 24 hours, then apply it to the baby's affected area 1-2 times a day. The effect is very significant.

There are generally two reasons for blisters on baby's fingers: one is fungal infection, and the other is malnutrition, especially lack of vitamins. You can check your baby's physical condition, find out the cause of the disease, and then find the appropriate solution from the above. Only the right medicine can achieve twice the result with half the effort. If the symptoms do not improve, you should go to the hospital for treatment as soon as possible.
