My seven-month-old baby won't eat. What's going on?

We all know that newborns need to eat to supplement nutrition so that they can grow better. Moreover, if they do not supplement nutrition by eating, the baby will easily get sick. However, some mothers will find that their babies sometimes have a loss of appetite, or even refuse to eat. So, for seven-month-old babies, why do they not eat?

It is common for babies to not like to eat. There may be several reasons:

1. Normal growth slows down and the requirement for food decreases, which will occur around the end of the first year;

2. A sprout of autonomy. This kind of autonomy can appear when eating, getting dressed, taking a bath, before going to bed, etc., and they are unwilling to be manipulated by others (feeding is also a kind of manipulation);

3. Playful, such as hitting toys, building blocks, tearing paper, throwing things, etc., and unwilling to stop

4. Been scalded or cooled down once. Choked..., with memory, unwilling to eat;

5. The food is not cooked to your taste, or is too salty or too bland, or the pieces are too big or too hard, which also affects your appetite;

6. There are too many distracting people or things in the dining environment;

7. When you are sick, tired, in a bad mood, or just woke up, you may not want to eat. To solve this problem

You can try the following methods:

1. For the short-term slowdown in normal development and the budding of independent personality, you can wait and it is enough to know it in your mind.

2. Wash his hands and put on a bib three to five minutes before eating. Move him away from where he plays with toys and feed him in a quiet place with few distractions. Do not have anyone watching him eat.

3. Be patient. Cut the food into pieces and tear it into small pieces. Feed him a small bite at a time. Wait until he finishes eating before feeding him the second bite. Don't let him choke and give him a terrible experience.

4. The taste of the food should be well controlled. It should not be too bland or too salty. Do not use MSG. Pay attention to the color, aroma and taste.

5. The seat where he sits should be suitable for your feeding height, and it is best to have some restraint, such as sitting in a high chair with a horizontal board in front, a small chair with a circle, etc.

For seven-month-old babies, there are many reasons why they don't eat, but it is very likely that the baby is not feeling well, so parents should pay more attention to the baby's physical condition and seek timely treatment if there is any discomfort. After all, the baby's physical fitness is relatively poor and the resistance is weak, and the disease will cause greater harm to the baby's body.
