What is the reason for baby's hands to break out?

Babies' skin is usually delicate and will not become dry. Unless parents do not take good care of their babies, their hands may easily become peeling. At this time, do not blindly use topical medications to wipe them, because babies' skin is very sensitive. Indiscriminate use of medications will irritate their skin and aggravate the condition.

It is mainly concentrated on the palms and fingers, and the peeling area is neither painful nor itchy.

Peeling fingers does not necessarily mean that there is a lack of nutrients in the body, and there is no specific nutrient lacking that will cause peeling fingers, so you need to look for other reasons.

There are many reasons for peeling fingers, and the most common one is allergy caused by touching irritating chemicals. Chemicals can irritate the hands, causing peeling and even dermatitis. If you often do housework, especially when handling various cleaning products without wearing gloves, you may encounter this problem. Moreover, everyone's situation is different. Some people will experience allergies and peeling immediately when they come into contact with chemicals, while others will not experience obvious allergies even after using them for many years. If this is the case, just try not to touch such items and wear rubber gloves when you do.

Some skin diseases can also cause peeling of fingers, such as tinea manuum caused by fungi and psoriasis. At this time, you should go to the hospital for examination. The type of medication to be used for treatment should be determined according to the condition of the disease. Do not take medicine casually on your own.

【Types of palm peeling】

Every early autumn, the number of patients visiting the dermatology departments of various hospitals due to peeling hands increases. The doctor told reporters that people's palms are prone to peeling due to factors such as the seasonal transition from late summer to early autumn and the dry climate. Generally, there are four types of hand peeling. Patients can judge which type they belong to based on the symptoms on their hands and perform simple treatment in daily life.

Type 1: Peeling

Symptoms: White skin peels off on the surface of both hands, without itching or inflammation.

Treatment: 1. Doctors point out that this is the most common and most likely symptom of hand keratin exfoliation in early autumn. Although it affects appearance, it generally does not require treatment. It will heal on its own after 2-3 weeks as long as you avoid contact with irritating chemicals such as soap and hand sanitizer.

2. Can be combined with oral medication treatment: Soak 30 grams each of the Chinese medicine Atractylodes lancea, Phellodendron chinense, and Atractylodes lancea, apply them on the palms, and take vitamin C at the same time.

Type 2: Dry dermatitis

Symptoms: White skin peels off on both hands and cracks on fingers.

Treatment: 1. Dry peeling in early autumn is most common in young and middle-aged women and is related to frequent hand washing with soap. You should reduce the frequency of hand washing, avoid using alkaline soaps and hand sanitizers, and try to wear gloves when washing clothes.

2. Go to the hospital or pharmacy to buy antiseptic cleansing liquid such as Fu Kang Jie for external application.

Type 3: Ringworm

Symptoms: Peeling occurs first on one hand and then spreads to both hands. The palms appear erythematous, inflamed, and itchy, and most patients with tinea manuum also suffer from tinea pedis.

Treatment: Because tinea manuum is contagious, you need to go to the hospital for early diagnosis and treatment, and insist on applying the special ointment prescribed by the doctor.
