What kind of exercise can help children grow taller?

Height is a representation of everyone's image, and many people want to grow taller. Especially for young children, the issue of height growth has always been a concern for parents during their children's growth. Some parents will enhance nutrition through food, or use Chinese medicine herbs, while others will use various exercises. It is widely accepted that growing taller through exercise, let us learn about it.

Exercise can make people grow taller, but not all exercises can make people grow taller:

1. Sports that are beneficial to height growth: volleyball, basketball, football, ballet, aerobics, stretching gymnastics, skipping rope, and jogging.

2. Exercises that are not conducive to height growth: weightlifting, weight-bearing training, excessive exercise, and exercise that consumes too much energy (marathons, etc.).

After learning that some exercises can effectively increase height, here is a set of specific height-increasing gymnastics recommended for everyone:

(1) Warm-up: Keep your body upright, then lean forward, stretch your arms and swing them upward and backward with force.

(2) Walking: Swing your arms with a wide range of motion and walk forward forcefully.

(3) Running: Start by running in small steps while placing your hands on your shoulders and bending your elbows with your arms turning forward; then run and jump quickly for 25-50 meters. Repeat 4-6 times, taking a short break between each time.

(4) Stretching: Stand on your tiptoes and stretch your arms upwards, then in all directions. Repeat 6-8 times, taking short breaks in between.

(5) Hanging: Hold the horizontal bar tightly with both hands and let your body hang in the air. It is best if your toes can lightly touch the ground when hanging down. Then do pull-ups. Boys can do it 10-15 times a day. Girls can do it 2-5 times a day.

(6) Jumping: Jump with both feet and use your hands to touch tree branches, basketball hoops, ceiling, etc. Each jump lasts 5-7 seconds.

Some height issues are also affected by genetic factors. Similarly, we can also make up for innate deficiencies through acquired efforts. For these exercises, you should also do them according to your own ability and not rush for success. It should be done step by step, starting with simple things and then gradually increasing the amount of exercise. Children need to persist for a long time.
