What should I do if my child has shazi?

Shazi on children is a relatively common skin phenomenon, but if not handled properly it can cause a lot of trouble. Many mothers don’t know how to deal with it when their children get shazi, which is not conducive to the healthy development of their children. It is very important to learn prevention and treatment. Therefore, the editor will talk about it in detail below on how to deal with shazi on children, hoping to help all parents.

Generally speaking, the severity of measles is closely related to the body's resistance. Children with strong resistance have mild symptoms, smooth rash development, rapid rash clearance, bright red rash, even distribution, and no complications or adverse reactions. Poor resistance and difficulty in developing rashes are mostly due to heart failure. The sick child appears pale, has cold limbs, and the rash does not show up, commonly known as white face sha. Parents may mistakenly believe that their children are not warm enough and adopt the old method of "covering the rash". They close doors and windows, wear thick clothes to sleep, and then cover with hot water bottles, burn their necks, etc., hoping to achieve the purpose of clearing the rash, but it often has the opposite effect. After overheating, the body loses a large amount of water due to profuse sweating, causing the originally weak body to suffer from circulatory failure, and the rash that has appeared will suddenly disappear. If you don't change wet clothes in time, you may catch a cold and develop pneumonia.

So, what should we do when our children have a fever? Measles fever has a natural course, which usually takes about 7 to 10 days. During the rash period, when the fever reaches its peak, the body temperature is generally around 39.5℃, and the use of antipyretics is of no benefit to the disease itself. Children with a body temperature above 40°C or with a history of high fever or convulsions should use antipyretics, but the dosage should be small, about two-thirds of the usual dosage. When taking the medicine, mix the antipyretic tablets with 100 to 200 ml (about half to a small bowl) of warm water to make the child sweat slightly, so that the rash will gradually come out. If the dosage of antipyretic drugs is too large, it can easily cause measles children to sweat profusely, resulting in excessive water loss and dehydration, which will be harmful rather than beneficial. Therefore, it is not that children with measles cannot use antipyretics, but they should be used in reduced dosages and with caution.

Do I need to take any medicine? Measles is caused by the measles virus, which is ineffective against antibiotics. Therefore, antibiotics are generally not used for measles. Some people use antibiotics on sick children for "safety reasons", but this only adds to the children's pain and does no good. In a small number of children with measles who are complicated by bacterial pneumonia, antibiotics are needed. Under the guidance of a doctor, penicillin, streptomycin, erythromycin, etc. can be appropriately selected according to the situation.

We have explained clearly above what to do if a child gets shazi. Although this is a minor illness, it can easily become a major illness if not handled properly, affecting the child's growth and health. Therefore, I hope that all parents will carefully read the various treatment methods above to prevent being at a loss in an emergency. I hope the editor's sharing can help everyone.
