Many parents are worried when their children have a cough. They are concerned about when their children will recover. After all, their children are their dearest ones. When children have a cough, it can usually be treated through diet therapy. Common therapeutic recipes include boiled radish in water, radish soup, steamed honey pear, etc., which are all good therapeutic methods.

1. Three ways to treat cough with radish

1). Boiled radish water can cure cough

If you have been coughing for several days and have difficulty falling asleep at night, you can buy a few white radishes, cut half of the radish into slices every night, and boil them in clean water. After the radish is cooked, filter out the water with a teacup or small bowl, and drink it after it cools down a little. Coughing can be reduced. Drink it for a few days in a row and your cough will be cured.

2). Boiled radish to relieve cough

Cut the "Xinlimei" radish into strips or slices about 5 cm thick, put it into the stove and roast it (you can use a pot to roast it on a gas stove) until it is half-cooked, take it out of the stove and eat it while it is hot. After eating it a few times, the cough will be improved.

3). Radish soup relieves cough

5 white peppercorns, 100 grams of radish, 3 slices of ginger, 10 grams of tangerine peel, fry them and drink the soup. Used for cough with clear, thin and foamy sputum.

2. Fried green beans with sesame oil can relieve cough

When you have a cough, put a spoonful of sesame oil in an iron pan, heat it on the fire, then put in 7 green beans and fry them until they are charred (don't burn them). When the oil is not too hot, add some honey and drink the oil and eat the beans while they are hot before going to bed. Taking it three or four times can stop coughing. You can also beat an egg in oil and fry it with mung beans, or fry a little mint, white chrysanthemum, and perilla leaves (available at Chinese medicine stores) together with the egg, add honey, and eat it in the same way as above. It is effective in relieving cough.
